This is the first win and nomination for Mary Elizabeth Winstead. She wins for her performance as Nikki Swango on Fargo.
Fargo had a lot of high expectations with it's third season similar to what it had for it's second season. While this season was a slight step down one of the elements which everyone can agree was spectacular was Mary Elizabeth Winstead's performance as Nikki Swango. Nikki was a villainess, a heroine and so much more put into one character. Winstead in playing the role of Nikki was a joy to watch having fun playing all the different dimensions of the character while clearly having the most fun time in playing the role.
