OUTSTANDING GUEST ACTOR IN A DRAMA SERIES

Mahershala Ali as Cornell 'Cottonmouth' Stokes for ("Manifest") in "LUKE CAGE"
Jemaine Clement as Oliver Bird for ("Chapter 4") in "LEGION"
Stephen Dillane as Graham Sutherland for ("Assassins") in "THE CROWN"
Orlando Jones as Mr. Nancy for ("The Secret of Spoons") in "AMERICAN GODS"
John Cameron Mitchell as Felix Staples for ("Social Media and Its Discontents") in "THE GOOD FIGHT"
Glynn Turman as Ernest Bordelon for ("First Things First") in "QUEEN SUGAR"

AND THE WINNER IS:

ORLANDO JONES AS MR. NANCY FOR ("THE SECRET OF SPOONS") IN "AMERICAN GODS"

This is the first win and nomination for Orlando Jones. He wins for his performance as Mr. Nancy on American Gods.

Bryan Fuller continues his long reign of the most underrated television creative with his new series American Gods. There were many elements I loved about the show and one of them was Orlando Jones. He only appeared twice on the show but he made quite the impression for such limited screen time. His role was in both scenes to deliver a monologue with such power that I stood up and paid attention. Jones had such a control of his performance as the trickster god. His first appearance is what I always go back to because it was such a statement for the show to make only in the second episode of the series.
