AND THE WINNER IS:
KRISTEN SCHAAL AS SARAH LYNN IN "BOJACK HORSEMAN"
This is the second win and second nomination for Kristen Schaal. She previously won for Bob's Burgers (2012).
Kristen Schaal has been on so many of my favourite animated show's it's ridiculous how stellar her voiceover work has been. She'd starred on the previous seasons of BoJack as the forever damaged child star Sarah Lynn. In this third season the episode focused on Sarah and BoJack was the most heartbreaking episode I think the show's every produced. Schaal plays Sarah for most of the episode happy to live life, however in the final moments of Sarah we see a different side to her seeing her greatest fears come to the service. Schaal is known for her comedic talents but this particular scene her dramatic heft is asked for and her work left me breathless. Well done to Schaal although i'm a bit upset we'll no longer have her work featured in the series.
