Gillian Anderson as Media for ("Lemon Scented You") in "AMERICAN GODS"
Alexis Bledel as Ofglen for ("Late") in "THE HANDMAID'S TALE"
Ann Dowd as Patti Levin for ("The Most Powerful Man in the World (and His Identical Twin Brother)") in "THE LEFTOVERS"
Irina Dubova as Natalie Granholm for ("Dyatkovo") in "THE AMERICANS"
Betty Gilpin as Audrey for ("The Bone Orchard") in "AMERICAN GODS"
Kate Phillips as Venetia Scott for ("Act of God") in "THE CROWN"

AND THE WINNER IS:

ALEXIS BLEDEL AS OFGLEN FOR ("LATE") IN "THE HANDMAID'S TALE"

This is the first win and nomination for Alexis Bledel. She wins for her performance as Ofglen on The Handmaid's Tale.

Alexis Bledel is most known for being Rory Gilmore, this has been both a positive and negative to her career as people who loved the show (myself included) haven't been able to see Bledel in any other role. It wasn't until to Handmaid's Tale that I didn't believe Bledel had much range, however after watching her limited turn on the series I'm blown away. In her role as the first Ofglen she is mostly silent and we only really see her emote in her eyes. Bledel was given this difficult role and she completely rules making a lasting impression on the show's first season. While she isn't asked of much vocally her silent physical performance is of note and quite impressive.
