The best visual effects are the ones that don't need to be called out. Effects that are mostly discussed are the bad ones where you notice how fake the effect looks. With Westworld the effects were required as most of the cast are A.I. with all the technology that is apart of it. The season finale featured the typical robot effects that'd been used throughout the entire season. Really great work by the entire visual effects team that worked on the entire season.
