AND THE WINNER IS:
KATHRYN BURNS FOR ("WE TAPPED THAT ASS"), CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND
This is the first win and nomination for Kathryn Burns. She wins for one of her three mentions this year for her choreography to "We Tapped That Ass" featured in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend season 2.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend in it's shortened second season sunk it's way into my heart. Everything about the show was perfect and I know anticipate even more of the show which is the opposite reaction I had following the first season. Burns won an emmy for her work last year and this year I reward her for her work featured on the show. "We Tapped That Ass" was a great call back number to the early age musical tap number with a modern twist. The number is intelligent and Burns makes the dance seemless to witness when we watch these two physically different men dance opposite one another and have the look as if they are enjoying life more than they ever have.
