OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTOR IN A MINISERIES OR MOVIE

Alfred Molina as Robert Aldrich in "FEUD: BETTE AND JOAN"
Alexander Skarsgaard as Perry Wright in "BIG LITTLE LIES"
Michael Stuhlbarg as Sy Feltz in "FARGO"
David Thewlis as V.M. Varga in "FARGO"
Russell Tovey as Kevin Matheson in "LOOKING: THE MOVIE"
Stanley Tucci as Jack Warner in "FEUD: BETTE AND JOAN"

AND THE WINNER IS:

DAVID THEWLIS AS V.M. VARGA IN "FARGO"

This is the first win and nomination for David Thewlis. He wins for his performance as V.M. Varga on Fargo season 3.

Having written villains such as Lorne Malvo and Hanzee Dent whoever was cast to play the cold hearted killer in this season was a tough uphill battle. David Thewlis is a greatly underappreciated british thespian who from the very beginning of his turn as Varga was the perfect villain for this season. Thewlis was always menacing during his time and had me frightened every time he appeared on the screen. Thewlis reveled in the darkness of the role and remained large and looming up until the very end of the season.
