OUTSTANDING EDITING FOR A SERIES, MINISERIES OR MOVIE

David Berman, Justin Lachance, Maxime Lahaie and Sylvain Lebel for ("Push Comes to Shove"), Big Little Lies
Wendy Hallam Martin for ("Night"), The Handmaid's Tale
Henk Van Eeghen for ("Don't Be Ridiculous"), The Leftovers
Jennifer Lilly for ("First Date"), Master of None
Tanya Swerling for ("Dissonance Theory"), Westworld

AND THE WINNER IS:

DAVID BERMAN, JUSTIN LACHANCE, MAXIME LAHAIE AND SYLVAIN LEBEL FOR ("PUSH COMES TO SHOVE"), BIG LITTLE LIES

These are the first wins and nominations for David Berman, Justin Lachance, Maxime Lahaie and Sylvain Lebel. They win for their editing of the Big Little Lies episode "Push Comes to Shove".

If there was any production element that helped to create the endlessly watchable series that Big Little Lies became it was the show's editing. This episode is probably the turning point for the series when the show's focus on the Kidman character became more noticeable. This team clearly had a difficult task to accomplish with mixing future detective scenes, hard hitting domestic abuse therapy scenes and everything else that was happening on the show.
